About
Born in the now forgone city state in the Dravanian Hinterlands.
A mischievous follower of the scholar who seeks to unravel the mysteries of Etheirys and prevent untold destruction through ignorance.
His charisma and magical prowess align him in the good graces of the many. Those that would use knowledge for ill will find the chapter of their lives unfinished.
Aethereology
In his work for the Maelstrom, he found himself in possession of a Soulstone from the 6th Astral Era.
His unique latent ability allowed him to tap into the knowledge contained within as well as bring forth the sentient aetherial construct he dubbed Calla (Lily).
This faerie proved to be a boon for his research and was a welcomed addition to his formidable conjury arsenal.
Alchemy
Adopting traditional Gridanian Botanical techniques from his Mother's instruction; Daferius has excelled in the Alchemical arts.
Imbuing aether into his concoctions he found himself amplifying the effects to greater results, leading to more potent salves and tinctures.
Historian
He received a degree in Astral and Umbral History from the Studium.
Having a penchant for obscure facts he has endowed himself with the knowledge of previous Eras to better understand the problems that face the realm.

Background
- Early LifeHaving been born to a second generation Seeker Father and Keeper mother in the colony, his cultural heritage was already washed away by the homogeneous structure of Sharlayan society.
At a young age he presented a keen affinity to aetherial manipulation much to the joy of his Mother who instructed him in Conjury and Herbalism.This trait however was not uncommon to those born from the scholarly city and his Father was soon training him to join the Studium with the rest of his peers.
- Formative YearsDuring his later years he developed a keen understanding of Aethereology. Adding to it, he developed a unique form of alchemy, inheriting knowledge from his mother, he created unique concoctions that aided in his research at the Studium.
This lead him to fall under the tutelage of Archon Matoya at the Antitower. It was during these studies so close to the Aetherial Sea that he discovered a unique ability that allowed him to tap into Environmental Aether without rupturing the natural weave or causing devastation (Anamnesis tou Parelthontos).
- Post Sharlayan ExodusHis mentor was intrigued by the nature of this ability, but before being able to expand and learn from it the order was given from the Forum to abandon the city state and flee to the Motherland.
Unwilling to abandon his research and home he stayed with a handful of people in objection to the Forum's decree. Bidding farewell to his parents he found himself lost and without purpose.Archon Matoya not one to watch her students wallow gave him a letter of introduction to a colleague in Limsa Lominsa where he found himself at the door of the Arcanist guild.
There he made a niche for himself working as both a supplier of Alchemical products for the Maelstrom and as a prefect teaching would be initiates in both Alchemy, Conjury and Arcanima.
- Post Endwalker
Having been recognized by the for his exemplary assistance during the calamity at preventing massive loss of life, he was awarded a position in the Forum.
Actively he continues his research at the Physis Techno, providing succor and aid to those in need while researching ways to enhance medicinal practices with the Sages.
His position in the Forum is regarded with respect. Acting as the sole Adjudicator. Ensuring that knowledge is not misused for causing conflict and strife. Those who labor for ill are swiftly dealt with. The fruits of their research confiscated, their lives forfeit in silence.
